Penang West Coast

We hired a car for a 10 day trip around northern Malaysia. The day before we set off, we visited parts of Penang that are difficult to get to without your own transport.

Penang Hill.

Well, this is one of the last pictures to be taken of the railway as it was. Now closed for a multi million dollar upgrade. Poor thing.


Thankfully the view from the top of the hill cannot be changed!!!! Nor can the coolness. Appreciated both.

Had to do the afternoon tea thing at David Brown's establishment.

Very nice it was too.
