Richard's Visit - Colonial Museum

Not unlike the Black and White I have as a model.

But the contents of the house couldn't be more different and not at all what we expected as a Colonial Museum.

The museum's artifacts are the item's collected by the owner over the last 50 years or so and are European piece's originally the property of the Euro-centric Chinese  Penang business men.

Quite an unusual and interesting mix of west and east.

Richard's Visit - Armenian Street.

To the Teochew  puppet museum, where Rich demonstrated his new found puppeteering talent, minus the Chinese, of course.

The costumes details are quite something.  Not sure how we missed this lovely place during our 5 year stay in Penang.

Next door to the Sun Yat Sen Museum with Richard planning his next move, aka Sun.

Richard's Visit - The North Coast

First to the north coast of the island.

With a mandatory stop for coconut.

And of course, an evening up Genting hill to watch the sun set.

On the Move Again

No prizes for guess where we are off to next.  This will be our 6th country of residence in the last 12 years.

A going away present from Alice Mary-Ann and Jo. Brilliant times we have had together remembered.

Hokkaido Remembered

 Rough under foot,

and COLD.

Where is your tripod when you need it?

Almost all black, white and grey.

Hokkaido Ice Cream, the best there is.

Coffee pretty good too.

Last chance for a 'selfie'.
