Sunday last , Gek and I traveled up to Georgetown to listen to a small section of the Penang Philharmonic playing at the old Star newspaper building, the young section. And weren't they great. My favourite of the day's performances was Vivaldi's concerto for two violins. Quite magical.
On the Friday night we were at the Ballet watching the Singapore Dance Company perform a selection of classic, and modern dance. This was the company's first visit to Penang since five years. I hope they don't leave it so long to make a return trip to the Pearl of the Orient.
