Rye

 


The Town's Gate, the only one of four to survive.  


A 1742 painting when the sea was much, much closer. At that time, there could have been 200+ ships queuing to unload at the port. 


Norman Castle built 1249.


Reminded me of the dollhouse dinner table,


in The Lamb House. A very interesting history, go Google it.
