Sixth Escape off Campus, A walk in Penallta Park

A stroll down from the car park,

under a blue blue sky. Spot the trail-less jets?

But you must go down before you can go up,

to see Sultan, the pit pony.

Ok, a poster view for a clearer view.

A strange structure at the highest point in the Park..

Also strange that 3,200 men worked the coal mine here in the 1930s and that where Gek is standing was then the top of an enormous waste-coal tip..

A little different now.

T'was a frosty day.

Walkway meets Outhouse.

Tiling of the roof still to do but now provides shelter for the house boy going to the main house. Don't say anything!!!!

Fifth escape off campus, Trip to the Coast

Down to St Brides again. It has been a little wild down here. Wonder where this tree came from?

No clear views of Penarth today.

But, lovely, none the less, out by the coast in a stiff SE breeze. Suitably suited and booted we were.

A Reorganise.

Through the door, to the right chaos,

to the left, a little more presentable.

Autumn

A solitary cow in the field.

The view across our valley.

A heart in the evening clouds.
