Crete - Knossos

The most famous of Crete's many Minoan palaces, constructed some 4,000 years ago and controversially 'imaginatively' reconstructed by Brit Arthur Evans 100 years ago. 

Most likely the oldest street in Europe.

And so on to Agios Nikoloas,

and a balcony stay with a port view.
