A Day in the Park

A 3.2 mile round stroll

to the north along the Taff River bank

to join the avenue

crossing the Blackweir Bridge.

From Merthyr Tydfil

down to Cardiff Bay

creating a roar.

Celebrating the 70th anniversary, 1949 to 2019, of the Park being open to the public, prior to which it belonged to the 5th Marquess of Bute.

Not at all sure what attracted them here.

The stone circle with an autumn touch,

with Tolkien tree. Time to leave.
