Peking to Paris Rally – Setting off.

The first Peking to Paris rally came through Mongolia in 1907. Yes 1907. One hundred years ago. In this 2007 rally over 20 countries are represented by the drivers, a fact the mayor of UB referred to in his speech, making linkage between the rally and Mongolia finding it’s new place in the world. If 130 ancient motors can make it to this remote place, then so can everybody else!!!!!

Speeches over, the support vehicles rolled out. This is one of those trips where you might a appreciate a huge Merc travelling with you!!!!
